SwissFEL paper published in Nature Photonics
The paper describing the characteristics and operation of SwissFEL, the new x-ray Free Electron Laser at the Paul Scherrer Institute, has been published in Nature Photonics.
Bulat Burganov leaves after his PostDoc with us
Bulat Burganov did a PostDoc in our group and is leaving now after more than two years. Bulat's work revolved around detecting anharmonicites by probing second harmonic generation. We thank Bulat for his work done with us and wish him all the best for his future career in the US!
Steven Johnson appointed Full Professor
During its last meeting the ETH board appointed six professors. Among them is Steven Johnson, who was appointed Full Professor of Physics after having been Associate Professor before.
Simone Biasco wins FP-RESOMUS grant
Simone Biasco was recently awarded a research grant from the FP-RESOMUS Fellowship Program, a joint initiative of the Swiss university network NCCR MUST and the German Cluster of Excellence RESOLV funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation program.
